Why it matters

01

Level walls, ready for paint or wallpaper

Professional finishing creates polished walls essential for paint and wallpaper application, removing seams, bumps and imperfections before the first coat goes on.

  • Seamless, polished wall appearance
  • Proper preparation for paint or wallpaper
  • Seams, bumps and imperfections removed
  • Time and labor saved compared to a DIY approach
  • A more durable wall that holds its value

02

Taping and mudding done in the right order

Every joint gets embedded paper or mesh tape under the first coat of compound, then two more progressively wider coats so the seam disappears into the surrounding wall instead of sitting on top of it.

  • Three coats of compound, each wider than the last
  • Corners and butt joints reinforced before mudding
  • Sanded between coats to keep dust and rework down
  • Texture matched so patches blend with the existing wall
